UPDATE: Harold William "Bill" George was sentenced to 20 years in prison followed by 10 years on probation, the Walton Tribune reported. In addition, he was banned from Newton and Walton counties.

ORIGINAL STORY: A former Loganville high school principal has been found guilty of child molestation, enticing a child and sexual battery from when he was a youth minister at a Loganville church, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Retired principal Harold William “Bill” George was found guilty Thursday, Channel 2 reported.

He was reportedly arrested in 2015 by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office and pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was the youth director of The Orchard Church on Ga. 81 at the time, Channel 2 reported.

His sentencing is set for June 20, the news station reported.
