Three East Point firefighters’ cars and a citizen’s car were vandalized early Tuesday morning, officials said.

East Point police Capt. Cliff Chandler said a window on each car was broken sometime overnight.

Police don’t know if the damage was the result of someone looking for items to steal in glove boxes or if the person intended to target firefighters.

All of the cars were personal vehicles and not city property.

This is the second time in two days car windows were smashed on cars in connection with public safety officials.

Atlanta police officers arrested a man they say was high on crack cocaine after he allegedly smashed windows on eight police vehicles.

Man with lengthy arrest record allegedly caused thousands of dollars in damage right outside of a police precinct.
