A former Oconee High School custodian was indicted Wednesday on two federal counts of child pornography a month after authorities say he used his cellphone to film high school girls undressing.

Timothy Brian Burnette, 40, of Union Point was arrested Jan. 11 at the school's campus after officials notified police of the crime, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. He was fired following his arrest.

The indictment alleges Burnette used his cellphone to film the girls while they were changing in the locker room. He also faces a state charge of unlawful eavesdropping or surveillance.

Burnette remains in the Oconee County jail.

His charges carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in federal prison, a minimum fine of $250,000, at least five years of supervised released and required registration as a sex offender.
