A day after Thanksgiving, a family of four is without a home.

Two adults and two children were displaced Friday afternoon after their house in the 2600 block of Pass Circle caught on fire, Hall County Fire Services said in a news release.

When firefighters arrived around 4:15 p.m., one bedroom was completely engulfed in flames, the release said.

In a Facebook post, the department said that the bedroom’s door was closed, limiting the fire and damage to that one room and saving the structure of the building.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and no one was injured, the release said.

The cause of the fire isn’t known and is being investigated.
