A man in his 50s is dead and two more people are wounded after a triple shooting in DeKalb County on Tuesday, police said.
A man and a woman in their 30s or 40s were taken to a nearby hospital, where DeKalb police spokesman Stephen Fore said they were in critical but stable condition.
The shooting took place about 3 p.m. in a park on Cedar Street in the Scottdale area.
A white SUV pulled up to the three people in the park and there was an exchange between the people in the park and the people in the SUV, police told Channel 2 Action News.
The two groups of people started firing guns at one another, hitting the three people standing in the park, authorities said.
Investigators are not sure if anyone inside the SUV was injured. The vehicle took off and has not been located.
