Two people died after they were shot at a home in DeKalb County on Sunday, police said.

The shooting happened just after 7 a.m. in the 4900 block of Central Drive in Stone Mountain, according to DeKalb police spokesman Sgt. J.D. Spencer.

Officers at the scene found both men lying face-down, according to an incident report obtained by AJC.com. One man was pronounced dead at the scene after an officer found he had no pulse. The other, who had been shot in the chest, was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to the report.

Police found a white Honda Accord with the driver’s door open parked in the carport, according to the police report. There were “numerous shell casings on the vehicle and blood on the ground around the driver’s side,” police said.

No one has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting, Spencer said. An investigation is ongoing.
