Cousins wanted in deadly shooting captured in Clayton County

Two cousins wanted in the shooting death of a coastal Georgia woman were apprehended in Clayton County on Thursday, authorities said.
Deandra Mims, 24, and Cierra Mims, 25, were caught in Riverdale by Clayton County deputies and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
On Saturday, the pair allegedly shot 22-year-old Quaniqwa Lee, striking her twice in the head in the parking lot of a Sam's Club in Pooler before leading police on a high-speed chase through Chatham County, the Savannah Morning News reported. Lee died of her injuries Sunday.
Days earlier, the duo allegedly shot into an Effingham County home where they believed Lee was, injuring a 10-year-old girl in the process, the sheriff’s office said.
The suspects are being held without bond at the Clayton County jail while they await extradition to Chatham County, records show.
