Two teenagers are in custody after allegedly pepper-spraying a woman in the face and stealing her car at a Douglasville Walmart, authorities said.

The woman was carjacked in the parking lot at 7001 Concourse Parkway on Tuesday morning, according to a Douglasville Police Department Facebook post.

Kenneth Cable, 17, and a 16-year-old male teen have been taken into custody, Channel 2 Action News reported. Both face theft charges and the 16-year-old also faces armed robbery charges, Channel 2 reported.

Police said the two teens asked the woman for money, and when she went to get it, they pepper-sprayed her in the face. After stealing her car, they allegedly fled from police before being stopped on I-20 near Temple when a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy used a PIT maneuver.
