A woman is accused of shooting at her girlfriend during a domestic dispute early Friday morning, striking two Flowery Branch apartments as people slept.

Nikeitta M. Chappell, 31, of Oakwood, was charged with seven counts of aggravated assault in the shooting, since each apartment had three people inside at the time, Flowery Branch police said in a news release.

Between midnight and 2 a.m., Chappell is accused of firing five shots at her girlfriend, who was driving a car through the parking lot at the Victoria Court Apartments. Two apartments were struck by three gunshots, but nobody inside was injured.

Chappell was arrested by police and Hall County deputies before she could leave the complex, authorites said.

She was booked into the county jail, where she remains without bond, jail records show.
