In some instances, wearing camouflage can be beneficial.

Bank robbery, however, may not be one of them.

On Tuesday, Atlanta police and Crime Stoppers released crystal-clear surveillance photos of a camo-wearing suspect from an early-afternoon robbery at the SunTrust at 3020 Peachtree Road NW in Buckhead. They are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect, shown donning the camouflage jacket with its hood pulled over a blue ballcap.

The suspect is also wearing black-framed glasses and appears to have facial hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator S. Bowers at 404-546-2469. Tipsters can also remain anonymous — and be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 — by contacting Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS, visiting crimestoppersatlanta.org, or texting “CSA” and the information to 274637.
