A Sandy Springs car dealership employee is accused of using a baseball bat to attack another employee, Channel 2 Action News reported.

“I have a hostile employee who is trying to hit another employee with a baseball bat,” a manager can be heard saying in a 911 call obtained Friday by Channel 2.

As a result, Kelvin Bautista of Atlanta was arrested. He faces two counts of aggravated assault and weapons possession charges, according to Fulton County Jail records.

The incident took place inside of Nalley Ford on Roswell Road in mid-August, Channel 2 reported.

Sandy Springs police said they confiscated the bat and a knife that he had on him during the alleged attack, the news station reported.

A witness told Channel 2 that Bautista became angry after coworkers accused him of taking their money. He then allegedly swung the bat multiple times, hitting the employee at least once in the back.

“Technically he’s a current employee right now, but as soon as this report is ended, he’ll be terminated,” the manager said in the 911 call.

Bautista bonded out of jail for $12,000, jail records show.

He went before a judge earlier this week, but they postponed a preliminary hearing because a grand jury has already indicted him on the charges, the news station reported.
