A man is in the hospital facing multiple charges after a road-rage incident led to a confrontation with a cop in Roswell, police said.

Brady Miller was pulled over on suspicion of DUI on Jan. 10 after an officer saw him get out of his car in the middle of Holcomb Bridge Road road to confront another driver.

When police tried to arrest him, Miller “fervently resisted” and an officer had to use a Taser on him, according to Roswell police spokesman Officer Sean Thompson.

Miller continued to resist, tried to harm himself and spat on the officer, according to police.

Thompson said Miller also “encourage(d) suicide by cop both verbally and by attempting to grab items off an officer’s belt.”

Miller was eventually restrained by multiple officers and EMS personnel and taken to WellStar North Fulton Hospital for emergency mental health care, Thompson said.

When Miller is released from the hospital, he will be served with 18 warrants for his arrest. Since Miller injured three officers during the confrontation, three of the charges are for felony obstruction.
