One man is in custody and another is on the run after a chase in southwest Atlanta Thursday night, authorities said.

Atlanta police said they tried to stop a stolen car near Wells Street when two people got out of the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot.

One of the suspects was taken into custody at Hendrix Avenue, police said.

Police didn’t release any other information at this time, and an investigation is ongoing.
