A Canton man allegedly went on a vehicle-stealing spree, taking two ATVs, two pickup trucks and threatening three people with a sawed-off shotgun all within a week, authorities said.

Jacob Cole Henson, 25, is wanted on several charges, including burglary, obstruction, fleeing and attempting to elude, reckless conduct and reckless driving, Che·rokee County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Howard Baker told AJC.com.

He said Cherokee County citizens should consider him armed and dangerous and should call 911 if they see him or have information about where he is.

A look at what Henson is accused of:

• On Saturday, Henson is accused of wrecking a stolen red Chevrolet truck on Edward Mills Road, prompting a homeowner to drive his green ATV to see what happened, according to an incident report obtained by AJC.com. Despite the homeowner being suspicious of Henson, he got off his ATV and walked toward a neighbor’s home as Henson jumped on the ATV and took off, the report said. Later that day, Forsyth County deputies contacted Cherokee County deputies and said they found the ATV wrecked in a swamp area.

• Earlier on Saturday, Henson is accused of stealing the red truck and a trailer on Yellow Creek Road, according to another incident report. Three victims attempted to chase him until he got out of his vehicle and pointed a sawed-off shotgun at them, the report said. Henson chased them before losing control of the truck, causing the trailer with a blue ATV — which he allegedly stole July 30 — on it to break free and crash into an embankment on Newt Green Road.

• He is also accused of stealing a dark blue Dodge pickup with its owner in the passenger seat on Aug. 1. A deputy tried to pull him over on Upper Sweetwater Trail, but he forced the truck’s owner out of the vehicle and dropped a handgun on the road, a report said. Instead of chasing Henson, the deputy stopped to check on the truck’s owner, who was not injured.

• Henson is accused of stealing a black Ninja Sport Motorcycle on July 22 and breaking into a home on Fincher Road on July 23.

According to court records, Henson has a misdemeanor criminal record dating to 2011, with the most recent case being filed in July of last year.
