A construction worker died early Wednesday while on a job site in northeast Atlanta, police said.

Jojo Herletz, 49, of Marietta, was identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office as the worker killed on the 695 block of North Avenue, the former site of music venue Masquerade.

Officials have not said what construction project Herletz was working on.

“At this time, there are no signs of foul play,” Atlanta police Officer Stephanie Brown told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in an email. “It appears that the construction worker may have fallen.”

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating, police said.
