The man accused of peeping on people in a college restroom was arrested this morning, Athens-Clarke County police said.

On April 15, a woman told police that while she was in a restroom at Athens Technical College, an unknown male looked over the stall wall, according to police.

When the victim screamed, the man ran. But the victim and a witness were able to provide investigators with a description of the man, police said.

This morning, a security officer at Athens Technical College saw a man matching the suspect's description and called police.

"The security officer was able to maintain visual contact with the suspect until officers could arrive," ACC police said in an emailed statement.

After further investigation, police arrested Charles Tyron Hill, 24, of Commerce, and charged him with peeping Tom.

Hill was booked into the Clarke County jail. His mugshot was not available late this afternoon.
