Complain about cold food at a restaurant and you might get a gun pulled on you.
That’s what one woman said happened to her Monday night as she was celebrating the end of her wedding weekend with her husband and friends at a Riverdale restaurant, Channel 2 Action News reported.
Nkechi Onunka told the news station that the Buka 2 restaurant manager’s son pulled a gun on them after her friends complained about their food being cold.
The customers claimed the chef told them their food would be free, Channel 2 reported, but owner Buka Abraham said he offered only 30 percent off their meal.
“This disagreement went back and forth, and things got out of hand,” Onunka said.
Another man, who Onunka said identified himself as the manager’s son, joined in the argument, pulled a gun and threatened Onunka and her husband, according to the news station.
Abraham denied the allegations to Channel 2 and said he’d never been in a situation like the one Monday night.
“Nothing like this has ever happened to me,” he said.
The couple and Abraham said they plan to file charges against each other.
