A 26-year-old man was killed last week after someone shot into his vehicle at a Cobb County gas station.

The victim, identified by Cobb police as Gregory Gabriel, was shot multiple times at a Texaco on Mableton Parkway north of South Gordon Road. Authorities were called to the gas station about 9:45 p.m. June 17.

Gabriel was taken to Wellstar Cobb Hospital, where he died.

An investigation is ongoing, police spokeswoman Officer Shenise McDonald said.

“The suspect fired at the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the scene,” she said in a news release. “No additional suspect information is available.”
