A Cobb County high school student faces several counts of sexual battery after he allegedly groped his classmates at school, authorities said.
Alex Puce Joseph, of Dallas, turned himself in at the Cobb County Jail after an arrest warrant was issued by Cobb County police that alleged he groped at least three of his classmates this month.
On May 17, the Harrison High School student allegedly walked by a student’s desk and “put his hand down her shirt,” according to the warrant.
On the same day, a classmate confronted Joseph, and he allegedly laughed and said, “What are you going to do about it?” according to the warrant. The warrant said he allegedly also grabbed that student’s chest.
On May 7, Joseph allegedly stood behind another student at drama practice and groped her, despite the student saying “Stop,” the warrant said.
Joseph allegedly responded, “You don’t tell me what to do,” before putting his hand around her throat, the warrant said.
Joseph told police he was joking around, the warrant said.
He was released on a $10,000 bond, jail records show. He faces three charges of sexual battery and one charge of simple battery.
A judge ordered Joseph not to contact any of his alleged victims, Channel 2 Action News reported.
Channel 2 has not heard back from school officials or parents of the alleged victims for comment.
