Cobb County officer shoots man in leg
A man was shot in the leg by a Cobb County police officer about 10 a.m. Sunday, police said.
Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said the shooting happened at 6289 Allen Road in Mableton after a report of suspicious activity.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation will continue the investigation and no further details will be released Sunday, Pierce said.
