A murder suspect who was among Clayton County’s most-wanted fugitives was captured in northwest Atlanta, Sheriff Victor Hill said Friday.

Durontae Xavier Outlaw is charged with murder during the commission of a felony, sale of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office website.

The incident that spawned the charges happened April 27 in Jonesboro, according to the website.

Outlaw shot a man after “a drug deal that went bad,” Hill said in a statement. Further details were not available.

Outlaw was No. 3 on the sheriff’s “most wanted fugitives” list.

He remains in the Clayton County Jail without bond, according to jail records.
