A van was stolen from a church in Cartersville, police said.

Police are asking the public’s help finding a van that was stolen from a church in Cartersville.

The van was taken from the Alexander Chapel United Methodist Church in the 600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, according to Cartersville police.

The van, a gold 2007 GMC Savana, has the Georgia tag BKH4981.

It also has the church’s name, address and phone number displayed in red on both sides and the back of the vehicle, police said. Stickers on the van may have been removed.

Anyone with information about the van’s location is asked to call investigator P.A. Hooton at 770-607-6244.
