A high-speed chase that eventually involved drugs ended in a daycare playground in Coweta County, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Video from the sheriff’s office showed a deputy pursued an SUV after the driver took off from a traffic stop, the news station reported. The chase ended when the driver crashed through a fence and into the playground around midnight last Wednesday.

Deputies found syringes and methamphetamine inside the car, Channel 2 reported. And they said the suspect had meth in her purse.

Officials arrested Phyllis Teegarden, 25.

“You want to tell me why you decided to run?” a deputy asked her on the video.

“Because I knew I had a warrant out for my arrest,” she responded. She was wanted out of Senoia and Meriwether County, authorities said.

Teegarden was charged with possession of methamphetamine, driving an unregistered car, fleeing police and seven other offenses, according to Channel 2.

A passenger in the car was detained by deputies but eventually released.
