Charges against a man accused of filming teenagers naked inside his home were dropped nearly four years after the allegations surfaced, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Keith Rucker was a resource officer and substitute teacher at Tri-Cities High School in East Point at the time, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. He was arrested June 20, 2014, on three counts of eavesdropping and additional charges.

This week, a judge signed an order prohibiting the state from prosecuting Rucker, Channel 2 reported.

Rucker’s lawyer, Jackie Patterson, told Channel 2 the case never went before a grand jury. Since that didn’t happen, there will be no trial.

“What I want the people to understand is that I’m the person who I appear to be,” Rucker said in an interview with Channel 2. “I am that officer that walked the halls of the schools. I am that coach. I am not the monster that they tried to portray me to be.”
