Two people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a man found in his driveway.

Wesley Cooper and Rachel Cooper are in custody in connection with the May death of Daniel Fowler, 43, of Hoschton, Barrow County sheriff's officials said on Facebook.

“After a lengthy investigation, warrants were obtained for Wesley Cooper and Rachel Cooper in regards to the death of Daniel Fowler,” according to the post.

Rachel Cooper was arrested June 2 and Wesley Cooper was arrested June 7.

On May 9 about 9:15 p.m., deputies responded to a report that a man was lying in his driveway with a knife, sheriff’s Capt. Cory Almond said at the time.

“Upon arrival, the deputies were able to determine the victim had a gunshot wound on his chest and he was pronounced dead at the scene,” Almond said in a statement.

Authorities later identified the man as Fowler.
