Two suspects, one of whom is at large, have been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting Tuesday at a DeKalb County park.

Jermaine Stephens, 35, is in custody, DeKalb police spokesman Maj. Stephen Fore said. Stephens was wounded in the incident on Cedar Street in the Scottdale area.

Jamon Bigby, 31, who drove away from the scene in a white SUV, has also been charged, Fore said.

The slain man was identified as Lamont Lattimore in the police incident report. He had a gunshot wound to the rear of his head.

After an SUV pulled up to three people in the park, there was an exchange of gunfire, police told Channel 2 Action News.

Lattimore’s younger brother said he thinks the shooting grew out of a six-week-old feud, according to the report.
