Two people are facing charges associated with “numerous” mail thefts in northeast Georgia, authorities said.

Casey Eugene Kimsey, 29, and Melisa Renia Croya, 35, are charged with 13 counts of theft by taking, Jackson County Sheriff Janis Mangum said Tuesday.

“Investigators received information naming Kimsey as a suspect,” Mangum said, “and after further investigation Kimsey and Croya were arrested.”

Kimsey also was charged with theft by receiving stolen property and second-degree burglary as a result of the investigation.
