Nearly two dozen cars were broken into overnight at a hotel adjacent to Turner Field, Atlanta police said.

And one of the victims is the father of a player for the Atlanta Falcons, according to Channel 2 Action News.

The break-ins happened in the parking lot of the Grant Park Hotel in the 700 block of Pollard Boulevard in southwest Atlanta, just south of the Braves’ stadium.

According to Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones, officers responding to a “theft from auto” call just before 3 a.m. Tuesday found 20 cars in the lot that had been broken into.

Investigators were able to lift fingerprints from some of the vehicles, but had no description of possible suspects, Jones said.

One of the victims, Alonzo Adams, told Channel 2 he was in town from South Carolina to meet up with his son, Phillip, a cornerback playing his first season with the Atlanta Falcons.
