Two people are in custody and two others are on the run in connection with a string of armed robberies Tuesday morning in Midtown, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police have not released the names of the people arrested or a description of the two people they are seeking.

The robberies happened at 80 Peachtree Place, 100 14th St., 441 16th St. and 375 18th St., Officer Donald Hannah told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The suspects held someone at gunpoint at the intersection at Crescent Avenue and Peachtree Place, Channel 2 reported. Police also responded to a robbery behind the BB&T Bank on Peachtree Street, according to the news station.

Earlier Tuesday, authorities released footage of what appeared to be a Kia Optima that they believed was used in the robberies. Atlanta police said they found that car, according to the television station.
