A woman is facing a murder charge after a man was found stabbed Sunday morning at a Clayton County apartment.

Police were called to a domestic dispute at the Windsor Landing apartments near Morrow on Sunday and discovered the body of Zarak Depriest Richardson, according to the Clayton County sheriff’s office.

Richardson had been stabbed in the neck with a butcher knife, the agency said.

After an investigation, Tahara Monica Golston was arrested on charges of murder and aggravated assault. Authorities have not disclosed her relationship to Richardson or released any further details.

According to the sheriff’s office, she is being held in the Clayton County jail without bond.

Richardson’s death is the second domestic stabbing reported in the Southside county in recent weeks. Jermaine Jones, 30, is facing a charge of murder in what authorities called the brutal stabbing of his wife, who has not been identified. Jones called 911 on Sept. 27 to tell police he had killed his wife, according to the sheriff’s office.

She was found at a Springview Drive home in Forest Park with “her neck cut so severely that her head was nearly severed,” the sheriff’s office said.

Jones was also denied bond.
