A man who allegedly attempted to rape and kidnap a woman in Buckhead was arrested after neighbors chased after him and called police, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Christopher Emmanual, 29, is accused of grabbing a woman last month, pushing her down a driveway and trying to rape her as she walked along Highland Drive in the afternoon, according to Channel 2.

Neighbors told Channel 2 they heard the woman kicking and screaming.

Mary Kelly Clary told Channel 2 she heard a scream from her Highland Drive home and said she chased the man.
"It wasn't very smart, but you just kind of react, and I heard 'Chase after that man. Someone stop him,' and I just started running, I just started running after him," Clary told Channel 2.

Police arrested Emmanual after another neighbor in a car followed him. That neighbor eventually flagged down a police officer, according to Channel 2. He has been charged with attempted rape and kidnapping.
