Two women are recovering after a shooting Monday night in South Fulton.

About 5:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to the shooting in the 6800 block of Kimberly Mill Road, South Fulton police Cpl. Maureen Smith said.

“The particulars and what led up to the shooting are unknown at this time,” she said.

The women were taken to an area hospital with injuries that weren’t life-threatening.

“The investigation continues and no further information is available at this time,” Smith said.
