Trinh Huynh, 40, was targeted by the man, Atlanta police spokesman Lt. Ricardo Vazquez said.

The investigation temporarily shut down the busy Midtown road between 10th and 7th streets from about 8 a.m. to just before 9:30 a.m., police said.

Homicide detectives responded to interview witnesses, one of whom told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the dying woman looked at him.

A witness told Channel 2 Action News the woman was shot more than once.
