Two people were found shot to death Friday afternoon inside a vehicle in a parking lot near a Wal-Mart in Riverdale, police said.

Shortly after 3:15 p.m., officers responded to a shopping center parking lot in the 7000 block of Ga. 85, police spokeswoman Lt. Nicole Rabel said.

The motive for the shooting has not been determined, Rabel said.

The investigation is ongoing. The GBI arrived on the scene just before 6 p.m., Channel 2 Action News reported.
