Authorities are searching for a man they say shot a woman during a domestic incident in Cherokee County.

Marshall Phillip McCall, 47, of Acworth, is considered armed and dangerous. The woman was taken to a hospital and her condition was not given, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The incident happened at a residence on Rose Creek Run in the Towne Lake area, according to a Facebook post by the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.

Channel 2 reported the sheriff's office obtained warrants for McCall for aggravated assault and robbery.

The sheriff’s office said McCall may be driving a black 2012 Kia Optima with the Georgia tag WHF479.
