Search underway for armed man cops say shot woman during domestic incident

Marshall McCall, 47, was last seen in the Towne Lake area, and authorities need help in finding him.

Authorities are searching for a man they say shot a woman during a domestic incident in Cherokee County.

Marshall Phillip McCall, 47, of Acworth, is considered armed and dangerous. The woman was taken to a hospital and her condition was not given, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The incident happened at a residence on Rose Creek Run in the Towne Lake area, according to a Facebook post by the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.

Channel 2 reported the sheriff's office obtained warrants for McCall for aggravated assault and robbery.

The sheriff’s office said McCall may be driving a black 2012 Kia Optima with the Georgia tag WHF479.
