A metro Atlanta man accused of carrying a knife inside Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport was arrested Monday after officers used a Taser on him, police said

Calvin Tooks, 39, of East Point, was at the arrival escalators near the airport’s atrium, Atlanta police spokeswoman Stephanie Brown told AJC.com. The incident did not happen beyond Transportation Security Administration checkpoints.

A witness provided a photo from inside the airport, which appears to show a man holding a knife. Brown confirmed the man shown in the picture is Tooks.

When confronted by officers, the man was smoking a cigarette, Brown said. He threw the cigarette on the ground and pulled out a knife, allegedly refusing to drop it. He eventually moved toward the officers, prompting an officer to use his Taser, she said.

No one was injured during the incident.

Tooks is being held in the Clayton County Jail on charges of simple assault, obstruction, disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon.
