Defensive back Deandre Baker (18) played for the Georgia Bulldogs from 2015 to 2018 before he was drafted by the N.Y. Giants in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Florida authorities have obtained eight felony arrest warrants for New York Giants cornerback and former University of Georgia football standout Deandre Baker.

Miramar police took out four armed robbery and four aggravated assault warrants against Baker, 22, in connection with an incident late Wednesday night, the department announced on Twitter.

The same police department also obtained four armed robbery arrest warrants for Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar.

As of Thursday night, Baker and Dunbar had not turned themselves in to authorities. According to the warrants, they will be denied bond when taken into custody.

About 11 p.m., the two were attending a party at a location that had its address redacted from the warrants. A victim told police that the two professional athletes met each other two days earlier at a party in Miami, where they lost about $70,000.

An argument broke out at a table where several people were playing cards, with Baker and an unidentified man wearing a red mask getting up and pulling out handguns, the warrants said. They allegedly held a victim at gunpoint, stealing his cash and an expensive watch.

The two, along with Dunbar, then began to rob three other men, the warrants said. Dunbar, who played wide receiver at the University of Florida, was not armed, according to the witness and victims.

At one point, Baker allegedly told the man in the red mask to shoot someone who just walked into the party. No gunshots were fired, and no one was injured.

In total, the trio are accused of stealing $12,400 in cash and Rolex, Hublot, Audemars Piguet and knockoff Richard Mille watches, worth a total of $61,100, the warrants said.

The victims speculated that the robbery was planned, since the three suspects’ vehicles — a Mercedes-Benz, Lamborghini and a BMW — were pre-positioned in a way to be able to quickly leave, the warrants said.

Baker, who is originally from Miami, played at UGA from 2015 to 2018. The Thorpe Award winner made headlines his senior year when he decided to skip the Sugar Bowl.

He was the 30th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. His NFL contact is estimated to be worth $10.4 million over four years with a signing bonus of $5.6 million, according to multiple reports.

After the warrants were announced, the Giants issued a statement that said, “We are aware of the situation. We have been in contact with DeAndre. We have no further comment at this time.”

Regarding Dunbar, the Seahawks also released a statement that said, “We are aware of the situation involving Quinton Dunbar and still gathering information. We will defer all further comment to league investigators and local authorities.

The NFL told ESPN that, “We are aware of the matter. We have no further comment at this time.”
