Officers found the man with a gunshot wound to his upper body in the 2900 block of Delmar Lane just after 8:15 p.m., according to Atlanta police. Single-family homes line one side of the street and the Harvest Oak Apartments occupy the other.

The victim was identified Thursday by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office as 20-year-old Tamal Daniels. Authorities are still trying to determine where Daniels lived.
