Homicide investigators are at a northwest Atlanta scene on Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities have identified the man shot and killed at a northwest Atlanta apartment complex Tuesday afternoon, where a man was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The incident happened at the 500 apartment complex on Northside Circle, Atlanta police Sgt. John Chafee told AJC.com. The man, identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office as 24-year-old Deangelo Earley, was shot in inside an apartment about 4 p.m, police said.

The injured man stumbled out of the apartment before dying on a nearby stairwell, authorities said. A blue Ford Mustang was eventually towed away from the scene, Channel 2 reported.

Police said Earley was not a resident at the apartment but did go there frequently. An arrest hasn’t been made, and investigators are still trying to determine a motive.

No other details have been released.
