A man was killed and a second man was injured Wednesday evening in a double shooting in south Fulton County, police said.

About 8:50 p.m., 911 operators received a call about two men suffering from gunshot wounds, Fulton County Cpl. Maureen Smith said.

It is not clear where the shooting occurred, but Smith said the men were found in the 4700 block of Yates Road.

The surviving shooting victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. His condition was not known.
