Authorities are searching for a felon with a lengthy criminal history who absconded from an Atlanta transitional center.

The Georgia Department of Corrections is asking the public to be on the lookout for Courtney Adrius Lee. Lee was being housed in the transitional center on Ponce de Leon Avenue while finishing his sentence for forgery, cocaine possession and a motor vehicle violation out of Cobb County.

Authorities have not said when or how Lee left the center.

It was his fifth stint in a Georgia prison facility. Lee was convicted in multiple other cases out of Cobb County on charges ranging from obstruction to drug possession to theft, state prison records show.

He is described as a 6-foot-2 black man weighing 150 pounds.

Anyone who sees Lee is asked not to approach him and call 911.
