Police are investigating after a man and woman were found shot to death Wednesday night in a house in southwest Atlanta.
“Preliminary information suggests that this incident was a murder-suicide,” Atlanta police Officer Donald Hannah said in a statement.
The bodies were found just before midnight in the 1900 block of Sandcreek Drive, which is in the Sandtown area.
Officers were responding to the home on a wellness check after receiving a call, Hannah said.
When police arrived, they found the bodies of the man and woman. Authorities have not disclosed the relationship between them.
One person was located near the front door, according to Channel 2 Action News.
A towing company was run out of the home, Channel 2 reported.
No other details were released.
