A teen is “fighting for his life” after he was shot in the head in DeKalb County, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The shooting took place Saturday at an apartment complex in the 4000 block of Central Drive in Stone Mountain, the news station reported.

DeKalb police haven’t released details about the victim or what led up to the shooting.

Channel 2 reported Sunday the 17-year-old was visiting the apartment complex. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he is in critical condition.

The shooter is at large, and no description has been released.

Police are conducting an investigation.
