One person is dead after a double shooting in northwest Atlanta on Monday afternoon, authorities said.

Just before 5:10 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Westchester Boulevard, where two men had been shot multiple times, Atlanta police said. One of the victims is stable at Grady Memorial Hospital, while the other died there.

Investigators remain at the scene and are working to determine what led up to the shooting. No other information has been released.
