Police are seeking the boyfriend of a DeKalb County woman in connection with her shooting death Friday morning.

Keitran Foots, 30, is wanted in the death of 35-year-old Sharika Bowman, who was shot while sitting in her SUV in the 4700 block of Wyndam Drive in Stone Mountain, spokesman Lonzy Robertson said.

About 10 a.m., Bowman returned home, where she lived with Foots and her children, Robertson said.

“As she sat in her SUV in the driveway, Foots approached her with a gun and fired multiple gunshots into the vehicle,” Robertson said.

“Several of the rounds struck and killed Ms. Bowman while she was still in the vehicle.”

Foots, who is described as 5-foot-11 and 150 pounds, drove from the scene in a black 2012 Hyundai Genesis, police said. He’s considered armed and extremely dangerous.

Detectives have obtained a warrant for murder for Foots, Robertson said.

Bowman was a licensed practical nurse and was studying to be a registered nurse. She had five children, a family member said.

Anyone who knows Foots’ whereabouts is asked to call DeKalb police at 770-724-7850.
