A bouncer was shot in the chest early Tuesday while trying to break up a fight inside an adult entertainment club, according to Channel 2 Action News.

The bouncer, who was not identified, is expected to be OK, the news station reported.

The shooting occurred about 3 a.m. at Club Platinum in the 1900 block of Piedmont Road, police said.

This is the second reported shooting at the club since January. A 27-year-old man was critically injured Jan. 5 after he was shot multiple times outside the club.

Arrests have not been made in connection with that shooting or the latest one.
