Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered Saturday morning near the Beltline in southeast Atlanta.
Officers responded to the 600 block of Hamilton Avenue about 7:25 a.m. after someone discovered the body of a man who appeared to have been stabbed to death, police said.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office on Monday identified the man as 34-year-old Justin Bahnsen.
“The male was located in a small wooded area and appeared to have sustained multiple stab wounds,” Atlanta police spokesman Officer Anthony Grant said. “Homicide detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
Police have not arrested any suspects in the case.
