Two Minneapolis bikers have sustained injuries after an unknown person threw chunks of concrete.
Mackenzie Jensen, 20, and a female victim, who don't know each other, were both struck with concrete blocks while riding bicycles in south Minneapolis. The incidents took place around the same area and are thought to be provoked by the same person.
"There was never a time he didn't want to be on his bike," Kristin Jensen, Mackenzie's mother, told WCCO.
Mackenzie, who was commuting to work, has wounds on his face and jaw. He will need two plates near his cheeks.
“You can’t take that pain away that he’s going to be damaged. He [won’t be] the same anymore,” Kristin said.
Witnesses say the man who hurled the concrete chunk at Mackenzie was driving a white or cream Ford Bronco.
A GoFundMe page has been created for Mackenzie. Click here to donate.
