‘Badly decomposed’ body discovered in Douglasville subdivision
Police are investigating after a decomposing body was found near a home in a Douglas County subdivision.
The body was discovered in the Hunters Ridge subdivision Sunday night, Douglasville police confirmed. Investigators said it was so badly decomposed that they aren’t sure what might have led to the person’s death.
Investigators are trying to determine who the remains belong to, when the death occurred and if it was the result of natural causes or a crime.
