Gwinnett County authorities Wednesday were awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death of a man whose body was found Tuesday afternoon near Buford.
According to Gwinnett police Cpl. Michele Pihera, the body of 37-year-old Christopher Landress of Buford was found about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, face-down on the ground near a green pickup truck in the 2000 block of Flowery Branch Road.
“It appeared as though the victim had been deceased for several days,” Pihera said.
She said there were no immediate signs of external trauma to the body.
